Well, I've only just tried it, and it works, but there is no water effect while showering. The water appears while bathing.

I can't recreate that. Everything runs smooth for me. I guess that either the shower you have is a custom one or that you have another mod that creates this problem. And make sure your game is up to date.

I downloaded the blur remover and have the latest update but when the sims get naked in the bath they look like the grim reaper. I didn't manually install the download, I used the windows installer. Please help

The installation went fine until Sims had undressed. They looked as if a genetic experiment happened leaving nippleless women/men.....pussyless/dickless also......
