Are you actually trying to download using winzip? Download using your browsers feature and save the zip to e.g. your desktop. For extract I can recommend, as mentioned in the FAQ, 7Zip.

Hello,

The Macintosh version does not work. It unzips as a document instead of a Unix exe, like the female one,which does work.

There is no executable file for the Mac version. The downloadable file is an archive that has to be extracted. In it is a package file and a ReadMe explaining how to install the package.
