Our older mod installers are not compatible with the Steam version of The Sims 3. Until we provide an updated installer you can use the following instructions to install our Sims 3 expansions:

Unzip the attached Mods_Steam.zip into the folder "Drive-and-path-where-you-installed-Steam\Steam\SteamApps\common\the sims 3". After you did that the folder should include the file resource.cfg as well as the folder Mods and under that folder a folder named Packages. This is the folder where you have to put all of our package files.

To get the package files of our Sims 3 expansions you have to download the MAC versions. In the download archives you will find the package files that you have to extract and copy into the aforementioned folder.

i have the steam version of sims 3 but do not have the same files as the ones stated above where you save the steam mod and the resource.cfg file. I have windows 10 is that a problem? not sure what i can as i really want to download some mods and be more of a supporter of this page.
